For efficient labs that require unmatched sealed-plate storage, we offer the ASMST module that works with our proprietary SealTiteTM technology—the world's first reusable microplate seal designed and built for automation. SealTiteTM creates a liquid-tight seal that is robotically attached and removed from SBS microplates by the high-throughput ASM ServerST , enhancing sample integrity and minimizing lab personnel's exposure to potentially hazardous chemical compounds.
No Heat or Adhesives Used
Unlike other sealing techniques that use heat and adhesives―potential contaminates to compounds being stored―SealTiteTM pressure seals are made of stainless steel with a 100% DMSO-compatible inner liner composed of an inert polymer that conforms to the shape of the wells. The seals are attached and removed from the microplate vertically with our proprietary sealing/unsealing mechanism, ensuring precise positioning on the microplate and minimizing well-to-well contamination.
